About Our Principal
“For wonder is the seed of all knowledge” aptly captures Elory Rozner’s educational philosophy. She believes that curiosity about life is the basis of education, and the most important thing we can learn is how to ask good questions.

Prior to launching Elory Rozner Consulting, Ms. Rozner explored multiple perspectives on teaching and learning in various educational settings. Her school-based experiences include teaching English in the United States and Israel and facilitating technology planning efforts for a suburban Chicago district. While serving as the education editor at Encyclopaedia Britannica, Ms. Rozner gained expertise in publishing and began researching the use of emerging media in education.

A position as an instructional designer at Cognitive Arts enabled her to apply her research through the development of online courses for Columbia University. Thereafter, Ms. Rozner managed K-12 and e-Learning programs at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. In this capacity, she directed the design and construction of a “smart classroom,” the development of an award-winning health education program, and the publication of a strategic plan for e-learning.

Ms. Rozner regularly presents at national conferences. She serves on the boards of the Harvard Club of Chicago and the Center to Advance Education for Adults at DePaul University’s School for New Learning.

Ms. Rozner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a graduate of the Victoria Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership.

“Elory is a strategic thinker who also brings a creative edge to program development. She is comfortable working across sectors and managing projects with diverse colleagues–everyone from public officials to professors to corporate executives. Always up for a rigorous debate, she also adds a healthy amount of humor to her work. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Elory is a creative pragmatist. While her mind is highly creative, her work is solid, supportable, clear and insightful. Collaborating with Elory is always productive, with results designed to effectively resonate with the intended audience. If that weren't enough, she's also a pleasure to work with.”
